Great episode! While I’m only a listener of music, the discussion of the freedom (and consistency) in the act of creating art really hit me. I’m gonna pick up Rubin’s book and see how it can apply to my art (food). Keep creating both your art and your podcast! PS - in future episodes if you recommend books, I'd definitely buy through an affiliate link (especially for an independent bookstore!). No pressure to commercialize your musings though. I'd also be thrilled to have y'all recommend music, whether it's just a recently listened to record or a playlist of 5 songs.
